In-Home Custom Window Blinds and Shades Installer

America’s #1 custom window treatment company is growing fast and looking for energetic, professional In-Home Blinds and Shades Installers.

Utilize your experience installing window treatments, or as a finish carpenter, handyman, residential remodeler, woodworking specialist, appliance repair technician, low voltage alarm installer, or HVAC Technician, and our world-class training to install high-end, custom window treatments.  Although experience installing blinds, shades, and draperies is beneficial, it is not required.

Benefits

As a member of our installation team, you will:

  • Receive extensive training on all of Stoneside's products and installation processes
  • Use our company-provided van to drive to our customers’ homes and offices
  • Travel at least one week a month to other markets around the US
  • Measure windows and enter these measurements into our automated system
  • Pickup completed orders from our local warehouse
  • Install our custom-made blinds, shades, and draperies in our customer’s homes and offices
  • Identify and document any issues with the final installation to allow us to make the necessary corrections
  • Demonstrate the products you installed to our customers and answer all their questions
  • Provide warranty support for our products
  • Always provide a five-star experience to our team members, clients, partners, and community.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2+ years of installing window treatments, millwork, installation (cabinets, doors/windows, molding, flooring, etc.), finished carpentry, remodeling, renovating, or similar experience
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and team members
  • Ability to work independently
  • Current and valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 35 lbs and climb up and down ladders
  • Live within 30 miles of downtown

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of 70 hours every two weeks.  Additionally, we pay an extra $29 to $31.00 per hour when you are traveling, plus monthly bonus opportunities, which can be equivalent to another $2.50 to $5.00 per hour or $400 to $800 per month.
