Job Description

Senior Management Consultant 

The Senior Management Consultant- Change Manager role directly impacts recommendations and results for Metafora clients, ranging from privately held to Fortune 50 companies. This is a client facing role with direct access to C-suite executives and the life cycle of their accounts.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide consulting services across all areas of strategy, operations, technology and execution projects, including: 
    • Future State Visioning, Strategy, and Roadmapping 
    • Business Assessments and Benchmarking
    • Business Process Assessment and Redesign
    • Technology Strategy and Product Development
    • Competitor and marketing positioning Analysis 
    • Organization Transformation and Change Management
    • Operating Model and Organization Design 
    • Compensation Assessment and Restructure
    • Training and Development Assessments and Program Development
  • Lead multiple projects (up to 3), deliver against aggressive deliverables timelines, ensure deliverables are to a high quality, and report on the status of the project(s) to the VP of Consulting 
  • Conduct research and analysis activities including competitor research and financial analysis
  • Structure, develop and facilitate client workshops with c-suite executives
  • Working closely with the business development team to support the development of proposals and Statement of Works (SoWs) 
  • Contribute to the development of the Metafora consulting practice by participating in firm initiatives including,developing consulting methodologies and developing consulting tools and templates

What we need: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in , Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering related degree
  • 4-7 years of experience in consulting and/or the supply chain, transportation or logistics industry
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills with ability to prioritize high impact activities, resolve issues and keep complicated projects moving forward
  • Ability to simultaneously work independently and within a team culture
  • Advanced MS Office Knowledge - MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word (note: we use Google Suite but the functionality is similar) 
  • Advanced data analysis skills specifically the ability to conduct RoI analysis, pivot tables, segmentation into quartiles / quintiles, scenario modeling and discounted cash flow analysis
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and non-verbal) 
  • Proven ability to add value across multiple project delivery teams
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage technical projects including software development and implementation
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal skills as related to building trusted relationships with internal and external business partners
  • Familiarity with Tableau (or alternative data visualization software) and SQL preferred
