Job Description

Salary: $148,750 - 201,250 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in information systems security; a master’s degree or relevant professional experience in information security is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate Systems/Solutions Architecture processes and trends.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• A Secret Clearance is required to start.
• Familiarity with end-to-end fully automated CI/CD pipelines, from code commits to production.
• Understanding of the Agile software development process.
• Experience using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• A working knowledge of FedRAMP controls.

Responsibilities:

• As an Information Security Senior Advisor, your duties will include:
• Analyzing security systems and continuously seeking improvements.
• Reporting potential threats or software issues.
• Implementation of cost-effective solutions to cybersecurity challenges.
• Following Scrum/Agile project lifecycle approaches to address vulnerabilities.
• Coordinating and scheduling application releases across multiple environments (development, testing, staging, production).
• Ensuring that each deployment in Azure Gov/Secret clouds adheres to approved change management processes.
• Overseeing CI/CD pipeline execution using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Verifying that the build, test, and deployment stages are completed successfully while addressing any pipeline failures promptly.
• Managing release readiness by ensuring all pre-release steps are accomplished, including approved change tickets in ServiceNow, security scan results, stakeholder approvals, and preparing rollback plans for critical releases.
• Communicating upcoming release content and schedules to all stakeholders.
• Maintaining transparency and aligning everyone with deployment expectations.
• Collaborating with DevSecOps engineers to introduce new automation or quality gates.
• Documenting and testing pipeline changes in lower environments before affecting production.
• Leading release review meetings and post-mortems for any deployment issues.
• Documenting lessons learned and striving for continuous improvement in processes and DevSecOps practices.
• Acting as the gatekeeper for production deployments and confirming that each release candidate meets compliance standards before live rollouts.
